FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS THE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL COLORADO MIGHTY MILLIONS RAFFLE?
Children’s Hospital Colorado Mighty Millions Raffle is a community fundraising initiative. The raffle is an opportunity for the public to help raise funds for Children’s Colorado by buying a ticket for a chance to win incredible prizes. Net proceeds raised will be used for Children’s Colorado’s greatest needs, providing the hospital with greater flexibility to care for its young patients. A Children’s Hospital Colorado Mighty Millions Raffle ticket purchase is not a charitable donation, but rather an opportunity to support the hospital through participation in a gaming event where ticket purchasers have a chance to win prizes.
HOW DOES CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL COLORADO FOUNDATION USE RAFFLE TICKET PROCEEDS?
Children’s Colorado is the only comprehensive nonprofit children’s hospital in the region. Every dollar raised by the Foundation is used to further the hospital’s mission of caring for and curing children through the provision of high-quality care, education, research and advocacy.
The net proceeds, after prizes and expenses are paid, support Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Children’s Fund. The Children’s Fund is comprised of unrestricted contributions that are deployed toward Children’s Colorado’s greatest needs, allowing the hospital to improve the care offered to every child who comes through the doors. Children’s Colorado served nearly 225,000 children last year. The hospital strives to provide each child — as well as each child’s family — with the best possible healthcare experience and outcome. The Children’s Fund helps to do just that.
