Asher has Joubert Syndrome, a rare disease affecting brain development. This condition can cause cognitive delays, eye abnormalities, respiratory issues and low muscle tone, but the prognosis varies considerably for each patient. With a lot of dedication and support, Asher recently went from using a wheelchair to a walker to now using crutches to walk.
